Description

The Authority is procuring a 4-year Framework that is designed to allow a compliant route to market for local and nationwide specialist retrofit and building safety contractors.  The Framework created may be accessed by any of CHIC’s Members (Employers) and any Authorised Users, collectively referred to as the Members or Employers.
This CHIC framework will be created to provide an efficient, value for money, compliant, procurement route for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies for the consultancy and works (design, supply and installation) of retrofit and building safety works and other associated works along with the implementation of digital measuring, analytics and reporting tools in all types of public sector refurbishment and regeneration projects.
Members are able to Call-off from the Framework via Mini-competition of Direct Award (DAC). The objective procedure for Direct Award via business case is detailed in the procurement documents.

National Maintenance, Responsive Repairs and Void works (Regions)

The services required include delivery of all responsive repairs and void works to supported and general needs properties in a defined geographical area of England and Scotland with a hybrid Schedule of Rates and Cost-Plus Model for repairs (determined by Lot) and a schedule of rates model for voids. Estates Rationalisation & WEQAS Refurbishment - M&E Services

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to establish a contract for the services of a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to design and deliver two projects, under one contract before the end of the financial year. The first of project is Estates Rationalisation, this involves several internal moves of departments around Woodlands House and the University Hospital of Wales to enhance the space utilisation across the sites. The second project is a minor refurbishment of two unites situated within Ty Glas Industrial Estates for WEQAS. The departments building is in a state of repair and no longer fit for purpose.

THE PROVISION OF HV/LV ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE

HSE have a requirement to increase the available electrical capacity on their western test sites, namely Turncliffe and Diamond Hill areas. HSE have previously invested in increasing the High Voltage (HV) supplies to these areas, to facilitate an increase in the available Low Voltage (LV) capacity. The types of testing carried out in these areas has changed in recent years, with a focus on EV Batteries and Hydrogen as a fuel for vehicles and for energy. This has resulted in the need to increase LV capacity. Additional information: All tender documents are available via the HSE In-Tend supplier e-procurement portal.
