Description

An Enhanced Integration Package (EIP) was announced as part of the New Plan for Immigration (NPI) in support of the objective of better protecting and supporting those in genuine need. The NPI sets out our commitment to offer an 'enhanced integration package' to 'support refugees to integrate and become self-sufficient more quickly'. The EIP will be delivered under the name of 'Refugee Employability Programme' (REP). This package will ensure that refugees, arriving via safe and legal routes, have the tools they need to become fully independent and provide for themselves and their families. The REP will provide 'tailored and flexible employment support arrangements to refugees arriving to help accelerate their progress as they adjust to life' in England.

KCC is seeking a suitable organisation to propose and deliver a programme of non-clinical Level 1 Universal Parent Infant Relationship Interventions, to test and pilot new ideas. Level 1 Parent Infant Relationship Intervention will comprise of the following elements. •Creative group sessions – Interactive for parents/families with their baby/Infant •Facilitated group discussion – to include peer and mutual support •One to One support and feedback to parents. The purpose of this parent infant relationship intervention is to help parents to deepen the bond with their baby/Infant. Finding a range of ways for parents to have two-way communication with their baby to help with their relationship and to help baby/infant development. The programme will support parents to learn coping mechanisms and tools to cope with the demands of being a new parent to develop insights and techniques to help them understand their baby/infant's development. This universal intervention aims to help prevent impaired bonding with a baby, promote positive parent and infant mental health and wellbeing and facilitate a stronger parent and infant bonding experience. The pilot is aimed at families that have a baby/infant up to the age of two. As part of this KCC would like to see creative group sessions that offer early support for those families with a newborn/infant up to 6 months. Families are defined as mums, dads, new parents, co parents, partners and carers which include family members who play a vital role in supporting parent infant relationships and the family's mental health. Callington Skate Park

Construction Plan 1. Scope of Works. The works will include: • Site preparation and demolition of existing fence. • Earthworks, grading and sub-base preparation. • Installation of drainage systems. • Construction of reinforced concrete skatepark elements (bowls, ramps, platforms, coping). • Installation of street-style features (rails, ledges, stairs). • Perimeter works including pathways and landscaping. • Site clean-up, quality checks, and handover. 2. Methodology 2.1 Mobilisation • Establish site compound, temporary fencing and signage. • Set out works in accordance with approved design drawings. • Conduct pre-start meetings with subcontractors and suppliers. 2.2 Site Preparation • Clear vegetation, debris and unsuitable materials. • Carry out excavation to design levels. • Import and compact subgrade fill where required. 2.3 Drainage & Utilities • Install sub-surface drainage to prevent water pooling. • Connect to existing stormwater infrastructure. • Install conduits for future lighting and services. 2.4 Concrete Works • Coping and edging hot dipped galvanised. Cut ends to be treated with corrosion resistant paint system • Formwork, steel reinforcement and shotcrete application for bowls and ramps. • Machine finishing followed by hand-trowelling for smooth riding surfaces. • Expansion joints, coping stones and steel edges installed. 2.5 Ancillary Works • Install prefabricated hot dipped galvanised rails, ledges and modular features. • Construct pathways, seating areas and viewing zones. • Landscape the surrounding area. 3. Health, Safety & Environmental Management • Works to be carried out in accordance with [local construction safety legislation]. • Dust suppression and noise control measures. • Daily toolbox talks and risk assessments. • Waste management and recycling plan. • Public safety maintained through secure site fencing and restricted access. • Working hours 0800 to 1700. • All operatives working on site should have relevant CSCS cards.

The contractor to provide an entrepreneurial support programme for individuals on benefits, helping them launch and sustain new businesses, as well as to support the development of employability enhancing skills. The specific nature of the support to be provided will be determined by the winning bid but it is proposed that this should include entrepreneurial support in order to start businesses and/or the development of skills in areas such as construction or digital, via short courses, in order to enhance employability prospects.
