Awarded under ESPO Framework 3S-22 Strategic HR Services, Lot 1 - Executive and Managerial Interim Recruitment, Sub-Lot 1f - IT, Digital, Media & Marketing.

We're on the hunt for an experienced IT Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in supporting medium-sized organizations, bringing in-depth expertise across a range of platforms and tools, from Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune) to Office 365 administration. This role will be key in supporting the organisation through a period of transition to an outsourced provider as well as key to the growth of the organisation.

Key Deliverables / Responsibilities:

IT Support
-	Provide top-tier IT support tailored to the needs of medium-sized organizations.
-	Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune)
-	Deliver support and administration for Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune).
-	Manage device configurations, updates, and security policies through InTune.
Desktop Support
-	Offer dedicated support for desktop systems, handling software and hardware issues.
Microsoft/Office 365 Administration and Support
-	Administer, manage, and support Office 365 applications and users.
-	Address any access, email, or application-related issues within the Microsoft/Office 365 suite.
SharePoint Support
-	Assist with SharePoint administration, permissions, and troubleshooting.
-	Ensure optimal performance and user experience within SharePoint.
Device Support
-	Provide support for a variety of devices including laptops and mobile devices, ensuring they are secure, updated, and optimised for performance.
-	Handling Starters, Movers and Leavers - setting up devices and running through inductions as required.
IT Security
-	Uphold IT security best practices across all responsibilities.
-	Assist in monitoring and mitigating potential security threats.

The proposed contract will be for the provision of supply agency services for all schools belonging to the Trust. The Trust is looking to appoint a Supply Agency and is seeking a single provider to supply this service. Guarantee availability of agency workers with the appropriate skills and experience to cover the range of booking requests, committing to a fill rate of 92% c. Robust KPI and SLA monitoring and reporting, including addressing any underperformance. The contract start date will be the 1st September 2025 and is to be for a period of three (3) years with the possible extension of two (2) further years, in 12-month intervals (3 +1+1). There is no current contract in place.

Provision of Supply Agency Services

The proposed contract will be for the provision of supply agency services for all schools belonging to the Trust. The Trust is looking to appoint the three highest scoring Providers who will become part of the Trust’s preferred Provider List. This will enable each school to select any Provider from the list in order to book suitable cover for the role(s) required. The Trust will not guarantee any level of supply for each individual Provider on the list and the schools will have the freedom to select whichever Provider they choose to use from this preferred Providers list. It is the Trust’s expectation that the Provider shall be responsible for the operation of the supply agency function including: a. Availability of agency workers that have the required levels of competence and experience to cover the booking requests. b. Best Value for money. c. Comprehensive management information and reporting. d. High levels of school satisfaction. e. Consistently high-performance levels which meet or exceed KPI requirements. f. Consolidated invoicing weekly/ monthly as required. g. Expert advice on any legislative requirements related to Agency Workers. The contract start date will be the 1st September 2025 and is to be for a period of three (3) years with the possible extension of two (2) further years, in 12-month intervals (3 +1+1).
