Description

Bierton Parish Council is proposing to replace the majority of its playground equipment with the installation of new equipment including appropriate surfacing for younger children. The play area is intended to be used by children with ages ranging from 0 to 14 years.
Experienced play area suppliers and installers are invited to tender for the contract. It is anticipated that construction work will be carried out in Autumn/Winter 2023 with the 
playground ready for use by the end of February 2024. There is room for flexibility with these dates. An earlier construction programme can be agreed with the Parish Council if preferred by the contractor.
Tenderers are required to submit a fixed price lump sum tender on the Quotation Breakdown Form within the Specification.
Tenders should be returned either by email or in a sealed envelope bearing no company identification and marked TENDER FOR BIERTON PARISH COUNCIL

P-0193 Playground Equipment and Multi Play Units (MPU)

Manchester City Council are currently improving fixed playgrounds within parks across the city. This project is split into the following lots: • Lot 1 Supply of Fixed Playground Equipment • Lot 2 Multi Play Units (MPU) Supply only All installed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions (see EN 1176-7:2008, Clause 6). Consideration of inclusive play installations and/or adaptations are paramount. In Ground Accessible Carousels - with steel decking and large, sealed bearings, easy access for maintenance and carpet securing ring to ensure carpet does not catch or foul operation. Spring Rockers - with above ground accessible fixings Rotators - Hanging carousel and rotating poles to have large heavy duty sealed bearing. Lot 2 Multi Play Units (MPU) Supply only - must provide a wide range of high value multi-play provisions for a range of ages and abilities.
