Seed Collection & Associated Services

Forestry and Land Scotland (the Authority) look after the national forests and land to enhance biodiversity, support tourism, and increase access to the green spaces that will help improve Scotland’s physical and mental health and well-being. The Authority also continues to provide vital timber supplies to support a sustainable rural economy. The Authority had a requirement to place a Framework Agreement with external Contractors for the provision of Seed Collection and Associated Services (including, Processing and Testing and Seed Supply). Within this Framework Agreement specification, the Authority had a requirement for the provision of the following services: - Aerial Seed Collection; - Ground Seed Collection; - Rope Access Seed Collection; - Seed Processing, Testing and Storage; and - Seed Supply.

FLS-0071-FW Responsive Chainsaw Operations, Arboriculture Work & Dangerous Tree Surveys

Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) has established a Framework Agreement to external service providers for the provision of Responsive Chainsaw Operations, Arboriculture Work and Dangerous Tree Surveys. This framework shall cover chainsaw services, arboriculture services and tree surveying. This includes tree felling, road line felling, clearing wind blow, tree surgery and other related services. It will also include the facility for clearing up sites following chainsaw operations, such as small machinery extraction via tractor mounted winch or mini forwarder. This Framework is split into two different requirements: Lots 1-18 cover Responsive Chainsaw Operations and Lots 19-36 cover Arboriculture Work and Dangerous Tree Surveys. The Framework term is four (4) years with no option to extend.
