Children and Young People Mental Health Early Intervention Hubs

The Department of Health and Social Care has awarded 24 for the delivery of Children and Young People Mental Health Hubs. The hubs will provide early intervention services for children and young people within the age range of 11-25 years old. There 12 contracts awarded for each of the geographical areas South and North of England. Leaving on a positive - Activities and Support to Improve Care Leavers Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health in Sheffield

Sheffield City Council (the Council), Children Services seeks to establish the provision of a range of services with the aim of improving care leavers' emotional health and wellbeing. The service will a time-limited intervention for 12 hours per person, targeting young people aged 17-26, to be delivered by a range of providers and delivering a range of types of proposals. The value of the contract advertised is the total budget available between awarded providers (this contract does not guarantee volume). The decision to award this contract was made on 08/12/24 following the tender process and selecting the most economically advantageous tenders.

This forms part of a wider development within Sheffield that looks to meet the needs of young people in the city in a collaborative and systematic way with partners from VCSE organisations, SCC, NHS and health provision and educational colleagues. <br/>The young people attending the YIACS service feed into the development of the emerging pathways to prevent escalated health needs for young people's mental health. <br/>This is an existing service.
