Description

Sheffield City Council (the Council), Children Services seeks to establish the provision of a range of services with the aim of improving care leavers' emotional health and wellbeing. The service will a time-limited intervention for 12 hours per person, targeting young people aged 17-26, to be delivered by a range of providers and delivering a range of types of proposals. The value of the contract advertised is the total budget available between awarded providers (this contract does not guarantee volume). The decision to award this contract was made on 08/12/24 following the tender process and selecting the most economically advantageous tenders.

Safe Water Projects

LSHTM / SCIF has an ongoing requirement for support in developing, delivering and monitoring safe water projects in East Africa. Safe Water Projects - To provide safe clean water to communities bringing defunct boreholes back into use within an ongoing management regime involving local stakeholders, developing production wells, rainwater harvesting, water filtration systems, water catchment protection and other related nature-based climate mitigation and adaptation measures. In addition, providing education and increasing awareness of how best to use and maintain the water sources, to drive hygiene and sanitation behavioral change in the local communities, with young people and in schools. This includes capacity building and providing socio-economic opportunities for communities and other beneficiaries of the SCIF infrastructure. All projects carried out must be scoped and co-created through on-going community engagement and effective outreach activities (e.g. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) promotion, behavioral change campaigns, community training and mobilization). The projects will be undertaken in the East Africa block i.e. Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia.

HBC NB Street Outreach and Move on Support Contract (Rough Sleeping Prevention and Recovery Programme) (ESPH725 JB)

Hastings Borough Council (HBC), in partnership with all other District and Borough Authorities in East Sussex, are seeking a Provider to deliver on the Rough Sleeping Prevention and Recovery Programme's key priorities of assertive outreach and proactive move on support to clients who are, or will be, at risk of rough sleeping. The programme will respond to rough sleeping demand and provide a range of housing support services dedicated to moving clients off the street and into accommodation. The programme will also have a greater focus on long-term prevention of homelessness and rough sleeping, through greater partnership working and contributing to long-term systems change. To support this approach, local authorities and the contract Provider will also work in partnership with health, criminal justice, and social care services to provide holistic support to those rough sleeping who are experiencing multiple disadvantages. Services provided by grant funding estimated at £890,750.00 (including VAT) per annum. This figure is subject to confirmation, should grant funding for the service be lower/higher the Council reserves the right to modify the scope or term of service to utilise all available grant funding.
