Support and advice services for multiple disadvantaged vulnerable adults

The Council is conducting the procurement exercise under the Light Touch Regime (LTR) Design Procedure set out in chapter 3 section 7 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) and the Public Procurement (Amendments, Repeals and Revocations) Regulations 2016.There is a requirement for the provision for multiple disadvantaged vulnerable adults. This often leads to health problems and social exclusion being exacerbated and the potential to rely on crisis or statutory services and high-cost care later in life. Citizens in scope will be experiencing or have experienced two or more of the following: • substance misuse;• poor mental health;• a history of repeat homelessness; • a history of offending;• those who experience serial exclusion from services or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream services.

Provision of Supported Housing for Single Homeless People

Direct award to provide Supported Housing for single people who are 16 and over who are or are at risk of becoming or already homeless together with other support needs such as people leaving prison, people with mental ill health, people with substance abuse issues and homeless. The aim of the service is to provide a range of support services to ready them for move on to independent living. Areas of support include: • Improving access to health services and encouraging healthy lifestyles; • Improvement in independent living skills through; practical skills, financial literacy and financial management skills social skills; • Improvements in peoples physical, emotional wellbeing and mental health; • Improvement in people's relationships with family and friends; • Improvement in people's social behaviour by reducing anti-social or offending behaviour; • Reducing social exclusion by improving access to employment, education or training.

P0795/007R - Adult Navigator Service - Lot 2 Further Competition - AWARD

Carried out a further competition using the Council's Rough Sleepers Framework Agreement For Lot 2 - Adults 25yrs plus (Single and Couples) inviting tenders from all approved suppliers included within the aforementioned agreement. The Council will enter into a contract under the terms of the original framework agreement for the requirement with the preferred supplier. This contract will commence on November 2023 until March 2025.
