Re-Opening of EALEP Trusted Partner Framework

East Ayrshire Council as the Lead Accountable Body and Lead Partner of the Local Employability Partnership (EALEP) is seeking to work in partnership with training providers, the third sector and other organisations to utilise funding that delivers an all age, needs based, person centred support to those seeking to move towards, enter, sustain and progress in employment; to reduce levels of child poverty by supporting parents from the priority family groups to increase their income from employment; to reduce inequality in the labour market by supporting those further from the labour market to increase their income from employment; and to maximise the role that employability plays in delivering national and local aims of tackling poverty, promoting inclusion and social justice and creating a fair and prosperous Scotland. Services will be procured from providers who are experienced in delivering to individuals who face barriers to employment and require additional support in order to obtain, gain and sustain employment. EALEP is seeking partners who can ensure a person centred approach and deliver provision in localities across East Ayrshire. Providers who are currently on the Framework (Awarded October 2023) do NOT need to re-apply for this Framework.

Flexible Framework: Individual Care and Support for Children and Young People

The Council aims to develop a flexible framework for providers who can deliver one, or more, of the types of care and support packages required. Experience of Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities is essential for organisations who wish to deliver support for Children. A thorough understanding of the sensory, emotional and behavioural needs of children who have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, GDD and other disabilities is essential.\r \r The Flexible Framework will be divided into lots based on categories of services/specialisms as follows: \r Lot 1: Individualised Support Service - Support to build social skills and access activities in the local area\r \r Lot 2: Personal Domiciliary Care - Personal care provided in the home\r \r There is no guarantee of business, including number of hours/levels of work, or duration of care packages to be awarded under the flexible framework. Any work allocated under the framework will be on a spot purchase basis.\r \r Demand for this service is unpredictable and can fluctuate between low level support and intensive and challenging packages of care. At the present time the Council provides services for approximately 25 CYP with a range of care and support needs. The equates to c10,000 hours per year but this may increase or decrease; currently there are c250 hrs of unmet need which will be allocated to providers successful in joining the flexible framework.\r \r The Council is seeking responsive providers who are committed to working in Blackpool and helping us by picking up packages of care when they are needed.\r \r The Council will set the price for service delivery within the terms of the Contract based on an hourly rate for lot 1 and 2. \r \r It is anticipated that the contract term will be from 01 December 2023 to 31 March 2026, with the option to extend incrementally for a period of 2 + 2 years (subject to contract review and budget availability).Please note this opportunity is being conducted under the requirements of the Light Touch Regime and therefore we have designed a flexible framework as allowed under the requirements.\r \r Any published framework value is an estimate. For the purposes of the procurement exercise we are advertising this as an above threshold tender; however we do not expect the value of all work awarded under the flexible framework across the whole duration to exceed £1.1m. Bidders should note that the level of work awarded under this framework is likely to be lower in value. As an indicator, current level of need across all provision of the type required is c10,000 hours per annum.\r

his training will complement an existing brief awareness raising film for non-health professionals on PNMH Kent County Council are looking for a provider to deliver a virtual Level 1 Perinatal Mental Health training. This training is expected to be provided to non-health professional family hub workers. We are aiming to ensure that training provided across the system is consistent and is developed by specialist services, therefore training material will be provided for use to adapt as appropriate. Aims and Objectives of the PNMH Level 1 Training: Improve Awareness of Perinatal Mental Health Raise awareness of the potential impact of parental mental health issues/difficulties on children Improve understanding of the referral pathways to Perinatal mental health services and the benefits of joint working Gain an overview of Perinatal Mental health. Trauma Informed Practice Training Programme

North Northamptonshire Council is seeking quotations for the provision of a Trauma Informed Practice Training Programme. The programme is to support our staff in understanding trauma and trauma informed practice to ultimately improve the lives and experiences of colleagues and individuals in our communities and improving health and social outcomes. This program will be aimed at North Northamptonshire Council colleagues and key partner organisations in the North Northamptonshire area. The programme aims to promote change, reflection on self and the role of others, critical thinking and analysis, robust and accountable decision-making, partnership working and empowerment of others through practice. The emphasis is on providing helpful and effective support based upon sound evidence and research. The purpose of the training on trauma informed approaches is not to treat trauma-related difficulties but provide staff with the awareness and ability to recognise the signs of trauma in service users, families and staff and others involved with the organisation and make adaptations based upon this. Scope To deliver a trauma informed practice training programme. The first tier will be a half day introduction to trauma and trauma informed practice. This will be accessible to a wide range of staff within the Council and aim to give a strong foundational understanding of what trauma is, its impacts and prevalence and introduce trauma informed practice principles. The second tier will be aimed more specifically at those within management and leadership positions and will be a full days training. This will build on the knowledge gained from the first tier and focus on applying key principles within a whole organisational approach to trauma informed practice. Attendees should leave these sessions with the skills needed to implement change within their work areas. In addition to these training sessions, we will require the development and delivery of a train-the-trainer program. This will be aimed at training the Council's current Learning and Development team, upskilling their trainers to confidently deliver the two tiered training sessions. This will be a 2 day training.
