Furness College Lift Replacement

Lift Replacement & Associated Works for Furness College, Tower Avenue, Bailrigg, Lancaster, LA1 4YW. The project involves the complete replacement of the passenger lift. The existing lift shall be replaced in its entirety with a new traction MRL (Machine Room-Less) installation, including all associated building and electrical works. Wrexham County Borough Council is looking to appoint a Contractor to the replace a passenger lift at Ysgol Bryn Alyn, Science Block, Church Street, Gwersyllt, Wrexham LL11 4HD. The existing lift is to be replaced in its entirety with a completely new traction MRL installation, including associated building & electrical works. All works must be carried out and completed during the six-week school holiday period. The contractor is required to include all costs associated with completing the lift within this timeframe, specifically from 20 July 2026 to 28 August 2026. Life expectancy: 15 Years Lift Operation: Passenger Machine Room-Less (MRL) Lift. The new lift components shall utilise open protocol systems, no closed systems will be considered.
