Vision Impairment Invitation to Tender Provider Engagement event 

We will be hosting a Provider engagement event on the 5th of December at 12noon via MS Teams. We anticipate that this will be an hour event. 

If you would like to join us, please do let us know, via the messaging section of the e-tendering portal and will send you and any other nominated members of organisation a MS Team invite and link to the event. We do ask that no more than three members of staff per organisation attend.    

The event will be an opportunity for providers to meet procurement, and commissioning leads to gain greater clarity as to Tender process, the Invitation to Tender documents, Tender submission documentation, how to use the e. Tendering portal, as well as to the Social Value portal and the service requirements in delivering Vision Impairment Rehabilitation and Habilitation services. 

SCOPE/DETAILS OF SERVICE
Lot 1: To deliver Vision Impairment Rehabilitation for Adults, to lead an independent life, who have a Certificate of Visual impairment (CVI) and maintain a Vision Impairment register.  

Lot 2: To deliver children and young people with vision impairment, Habiliation support, which involves training them to develop their personal mobility, navigation and independent living skills.

TD2320 - Family Group Conferencing

Derby City Council is undertaking this procurement to establish a contract for provision of Family Group Conferencing. The initial contract period is 1 year. The contract is estimated to commence 1st March 2026 and expire 28th February 2027. There will be an option to extend the contract for 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum contract period is 2 years. There is a maximum budget of £90,000 per annum, a total of £90,000.00 over the initial contract term. Should the contract be extended for a further 12 months, the total contract value shall not exceed £180,000.00 over the full contract term inclusive of any extensions. The service will: • To facilitate and deliver high quality Family Group Conferences (FGC) in Derby, in accordance with the identified policies, practice standards and aims of the Family Group Conference Service. • To ensure that the service delivered is effective, of exceptional quality and value for money. • To ensure that preparation for the FGC reflects any existing formal or statutory plans in place (e.g., Child Protection Plan, Child in Need Plan). • To fully include the voice of children, young people and their families in decisions relating to the services being provided. • Ensure that the Family Plan is child focused, does not compromise the safety of children and meets the expectations of the referring agency. • To improve outcomes for families in Derby City.
