Description

South Tyneside Council wish to establish a framework agreement for the supply of event services including equipment and event stewarding.
The framework agreement will be divided into lots and approximate values of each Lot are provided below: -
Lot 1 - Barriers - £10,739 p.a.
Lot 2 - Large Festival Stage - £31,000 p.a.
Lot 3 - Big Screens - £15,900 p.a.
Lot 4 - Temporary Toilets - £37,800 p.a.
Lot 5 - Temporary Offices and Storage - £8,578 p.a.
Lot 6 - PA Systems for Outdoor Events - ££39,240 p.a.
Lot 7 - Lighting for Outdoor Events - £7,128 p.a.
Lot 8 - Marquees for Events Outdoor, Tables & Chairs - £11,664 p.a.
Lot 9 - Radio Systems - £2,405 p.a.
Lot 10 - Event Stewarding - £30,672 p.a.
Lot 11 - PA, Lighting & AV Provision Indoor Events - £7,668 p.a.
Lot 12 - Mobile Stage Package, Small Events - £4,000 p.a.
Suppliers can bid for one or all Lot(s)
It is envisaged there will be a maximum of 3 suppliers for all Lots dependent on the number and quality bids received. The 3 highest scoring suppliers will be ranked on each Lot.
Direct Award - for services of and identical or very similar nature to that already priced, it is intended that this work will be directly awarded to the first ranked supplier.  In the event that they are unable to carry out the work it will be awarded to the 2nd ranked supplier, then 3rd ranked supplier.
Further competition - for services where direct award is deemed not appropriate, e.g. it is not of similar nature to priced at set up of framework.  Such competition will be subject to lowest price.
The Framework Agreement will be drawn down by way of purchase order.

UKREiiF is the UK's largest real estate investment and infrastructure forum. It is a three-day real estate event that was established in 2022, defying expectations, attracting thousands of domestic and international developers, investors, councils and built environment thought leaders. EMCCA is looking for a supplier with a strong track record in event management to udnertake this project. A commitment to working with partners within the East Midlands is also expected. Bidders may be required to deliver a presentation in relation to the project at the EMCCA offices in Chesterfield, Derbyshire on 11th November 2026.
