Leicester City Council invites quotations for works involving the lifting, removal and disposal of the existing MUGA synthetic carpet surfacing at the College Gardens’ Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), Hallaton Road, LE5 0PX, Leicester. The Contractor must also prepare the MUGA for the installation of new surfacing, as well as installing the surfacing. The existing surfacing is damaged and heavily worn. The existing surface will need to be replaced using a similar sand-filled synthetic carpet with performance layer and integrated line markings for basketball and football. Tenderers will be required to register on the Central Digital Platform (Find a Tender service). To assist prospective Tenderers, the Cabinet Office have published video guides with accompanying PDF user manuals which will help Tenderers understand and navigate the platform, including how to register, upload organisational information and search and bid for opportunities. Extension and remodelling of Knowle Village Hall

Wickham and Knowle Parish Council are seeking to extend and remodel Knowle Village Hall, which is found on Knowle Avenue, Knowle, Fareham, PO17 5GR. The existing building is to be extended with a wrap around extension to 3 sides, and to remodel the interior layout to create a new gym with changing rooms, new office and extend the meeting room and kitchen. The project already has planning permission from Winchester City Council (application 24/01516/FUL) and the Parish Council have worked with a firm of architects to produce the tender documents. Ash Parish Council Playground Project

Ash Parish Council, who have secured funding that has been allocated to enhance the play facilities at the Recreation Ground, are seeking a suitably qualified contractor to design and build a new facility. There is an existing play area on site which will remain, largely aimed at younger children (2- 8-year-olds) which also includes some 'inclusive' items such as a wheelchair roundabout. With consideration of the budget and space available, the objective is to provide play experiences which will be aimed at 8 - 14 years old children to complement the existing area.
