Provision of catering & hospitality services to Broadgate Primary School, Horsforth, Leeds.
The successful contractor will provide all catering services to the school, Mon - Fri, 190 days per year, from their on-site kitchen and occasionally provide hospitality catering too.
The School has 469 pupils on roll with an average meal count of 200-220 meals per day (2024/25 average).
The school seeks a contractor who can provide both digital pre-order and parent payment platforms.
The school seek a contractor whose Contract Manager who has strong HR and craft skills.
The school are open to alternative bids exploring different tariffs to parents and different labour structure ( there is 1 current vacancy)

The School's objectives for the new contract are as follows:- • Natasha's Law (2021): Full allergen labelling on all pre-packed food. • Healthy eating promotion & food education initiatives. • Seasonal, locally sourced produce prioritised. • A catering service that is well managed and requires minimal involvement from the Schools' management team. • A strong Contractor Area Manager who will develop and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service, a consistently high-quality food offer and spend a substantial amount of time on site at the outset to undertake this. • A Contractor who is proactive in their relationship management with the School. • Investment in the Schools' Catering service through increased marketing in return for a tenure of contract. • A higher number of students and staff using the facilities by providing a high quality, affordable and nutritious meal. • A catering service that encourages students to take a heathy and balanced meal. • Food and drinks that look appetising and are attractively presented. • A Contractor that adopts a flexible and proactive approach to all school activities, especially in the need to have local facilities to support the School on occasion when the provision cannot be provided in the temporary facilities for whatever reason. • A service that is professionally merchandised and marketed with discretion and to the mutual benefit of the School and the Contractor. • A Contractor that operates using the optimum level of staffing.

PP-10169 Wyvern School & Bushfield School Catering

The Viaduct Federation comprises of Wyvern Infant School (with Preschool and Nursery) along with Bushfield Junior School. In addition, Wyvern School also has a nursery provision for 2-3 year olds with 40 children per day in attendance. Meals for Wyvern are cooked fresh on site and then hotboxed to Bushfield and are served by the incumbent staff at Bushfield. The Supplier may also be required to provide packed lunches for school trips. There are 2 schools Wyvern and Bushfield under the Viaduct Federation. There is no LGPS. The Contract period will be for 3 years initially, with the option to extend for two further one-year periods at the discretion of the Client.
