Description

The New Build Dumfries High School is part of the overarching Dumfries Learning Town project which came into inception in 2013.  This project is part of the second phase and sees a replacement school designed for a capacity for 936 pupils.
The school is currently partway through the construction stage and is scheduled for completion 10th April 2026 in readiness for school term commencing 13th April 2026.
Dumfries and Galloway Council wish to appoint a single supplier for all loose furniture items, appropriate for a secondary school setting, to allow the school to be operational on day one of opening.

Hertfordshire County Council (HCC or the Council), the Contracting Authority, acting on behalf of the Participating Authorities is currently out to procurement for the Provision of a Framework for the Supply of Educational Tables, Chairs, Folding Tables and Lockers to End Users in various locations throughout Hertfordshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. The Framework will be open for all UK public sector organisations as outlined in the tender documentation (please see the Specification, Schedule 1 of the Framework), subject to the agreement of Hertfordshire County Council, the Contracting Authority. This requirement is for seven Lots as detailed below. Lot 1 Educational Tables Lot 2 Educational Seating Lot 3 Bulk Pack Tables Lot 4 Bulk Pack Seating Lot 5 Essentials Educational Seating Lot 6 Mobile Folding Tables Lot 7 Steel Lockers The figures quoted in this notice are for guidance only and have been uplifted to include any possible spend from other Authorities that may join during the life of this Framework. This is a Framework and there is no guarantee of spend. Full details, including current spend, are in the Tender document set. The Council will procure this Framework using the Open Procedure as defined in the Procurement Act 2023.
