Description
Hertfordshire County Council (HCC or the Council), the Contracting Authority, acting on behalf of the Participating Authorities is currently out to procurement for the Provision of a Framework for the Supply of Educational Tables, Chairs, Folding Tables and Lockers to End Users in various locations throughout Hertfordshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. The Framework will be open for all UK public sector organisations as outlined in the tender documentation (please see the Specification, Schedule 1 of the Framework), subject to the agreement of Hertfordshire County Council, the Contracting Authority. This requirement is for seven Lots as detailed below. Lot 1 Educational Tables Lot 2 Educational Seating Lot 3 Bulk Pack Tables Lot 4 Bulk Pack Seating Lot 5 Essentials Educational Seating Lot 6 Mobile Folding Tables Lot 7 Steel Lockers The figures quoted in this notice are for guidance only and have been uplifted to include any possible spend from other Authorities that may join during the life of this Framework. This is a Framework and there is no guarantee of spend. Full details, including current spend, are in the Tender document set. The Council will procure this Framework using the Open Procedure as defined in the Procurement Act 2023. Full details of the requirement and context of the procurement can be found in the Specification (Schedule 1) of the Framework Document. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to ‘express an interest’ and also ‘opt in’ which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. To be considered as a Tenderer you must complete and submit a Tender by the deadline of 12 noon on the 16th December 2025. Please allow sufficient time to make your return, as Tender submissions cannot be uploaded and submitted after this return deadline. Please ensure that where possible documents are uploaded as a PDF and that file names are succinct. Tenderers should be aware that due to the nature of the Services provided, any Framework formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed.
