Description

To carry out the replacement of the 3G football pitch at Whittington Park as per the scope of work below:

Pitch development scope of works*:
Site set up
Preliminary costs (messing and welfare)
Remove existing synthetic turf and disposal
Careful inspection of existing in situ shockpad
Clean facility footprint
Install new infill migration mitigation features (500mm minimum height kickboard panels, 2Nr boot cleaning stations at
players entrance, 2Nr boot cleaning grates (two doubles)
Localised repairs to pitch base in eastern goalmouth and associated shockpad works above the base repair
Install new SBR rubber infilled 3G synthetic turf layer (minimum 50mm pile length)
Site entrance reinstatement
New pitch surfacing system to meet FIFA Quality standard and the completed pitch will be tested for inclusion on FA
pitch register.

With potential works to include (extra over costs required - not to include in tender sum):
Removal and installation of new shockpad if existing shockpad found not to be suitable (tenderer to propose type of
shockpad to be used)
Extra over cost for new alternative infill carpet and shockpad system to meet FIFA Quality
Provide after care (12-month period, 6Nr visits)
New full sized and small sized free standing football goals
