Description

Reactive maintenance works are those that comprise of day to day emergency repairs together with short term items to rectify immediate problems e.g. repair to a toilet. The works could potentially be required across the West Midlands region, which is split into the following areas: Birmingham North and South, Black Country North and South and Coventry and Solihull. West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority has thirty-eight fire stations across the region, a HQ building located in Birmingham, Transport Engineering Workshops in Perry Barr and the Command Development Centre in Smethwick, a full schedule of properties is listed at Appendix 5 (site address list).  
The work will be split into the following lots: 
Lot 1: Building Works 
Lot 2: Electrical Works  
Lot 3: Plumbing works  
Lot 4: Drainage  
Lot 5: Roofing works  
Tenderers are invited to bid for all or any of the available Lots. It is the preference of the Authority that all the above Lots will be awarded to three suppliers per Lot.

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) is inviting qualified contractors to participate in a tender exercise for a Measured Term Contract (MTC) for Building, Mechanical, and Electrical services. Scope of service provision: • Building maintenance (to supplement existing internal teams as required) • Building services including electrical and mechanical installations and upgrades. • Estates maintenance & capital minor works • New build and refurbishment / alterations • Deliver a significant programme of planned and backlog maintenance It is possible that new clinical imperatives will arise during the contract that could significantly add to the above categories of work. In this instance ESNEFT will discuss / consult with the successful tenderer. This contractual arrangement will enable the Trust to react to fast moving client requirements in a timely fashion. Period of contract: 3 years + 1 the desired start date will be autumn 2025. Indicative Annual Contract Value: £2m – £5 million Contract Form: JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition (MTC 2016) Rates Publication / Edition: Current edition of NSR rates as of 1 May 2025 Maximum Job/Scheme Order value: £0.5 million Typically, the order value to be in the order of £5k – 100k.This will occasionally rise to any figure up to £0.5 million as above.
