Description

The scope of this Framework is to cover the appropriate range of products to help influence ideal wound healing environments. The products are used to provide pathogen-free protection and/or moisten areas for healing of wounds to occur as well as prevent infection and skin breakages including, but not limited to Hydrogels, Gelling Fibres and Alginates, Wound Contact Layers, Super Absorbent Dressings, Dressing Pads, Foam Dressings, Hydrocolloid Dressings, Non-Woven Island Dressings, IV Dressings, Film and Film Island Dressings, Burns and Scar Management, Speciality Wound Care, Wound Irrigation, Debridement, Adhesive Removers, Barrier Creams and Films, Compression Bandages and Medical Adhesive Tapes.
It is anticipated that initial expenditure for this Framework will be circa £250,960,973 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement. If the Framework Agreement is extended to the maximum duration, the anticipated expenditure will be circa £1,003,843,892 GBP to £1,467,008,032 GBP.

NP1006/25 NHSS Bowel Screening Test Kits and Analysers

NHS Tayside, on behalf of NHS Scotland, require a new short-term contract for the purchase of the following products to ensure that the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme can issue, receive and analyse Test Kits for Bowel Cancer detection: - Bowel Screening Test Kit Analysers to meet the annual throughput of c650,000. This is also to include any necessary software and associated hardware (e.g. Scanners, Printers or Data Storage) and include maintenance costs. - Consumables and reagents for use with the Analysers, sufficient to meet the annual through put of c650,000 test kits. These will be purchased on standing order. - Bowel Screening Test Kits, for issue with the Invitation to participate in the Screening programme, at c1,000,000 test kits per annum, increasing at c2 percent per annum in quantity. These will be purchased on most economical basis (i.e. annual delivery to Fulfilment House, or quarterly deliveries). - Bowel Screening Return Packaging. Each Invitation must include a return package, suitable for transportation through Royal Mail.

Total Patient Assessment Device Solutions Tender Notice

NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a Framework Agreement for Total Patient Assessment Device Solution Products under which it will be entitled to purchase supplies and/or services which it will make available for purchase by 1) any NHS Trust; 2) any other NHS entity; 3) any government department, agency or other statutory body and/or 4) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector. Only NHS Supply Chain can order from the Framework Agreement and enter into contracts under it. Estimated value over the 2-year Framework Agreement will be in the region of £47,800,000. There will be an option to extend the Framework for a further 2 years. If the extension period will be utilised, then the total value of the Framework across the 4 year would be approximately £95,600,000. Supply and Support of Complete Antibody Quantification Testing Systems

The RCI laboratories in NHSBT provide a range of reference services to hospitals, focusing on ensuring safe and effective blood transfusions by diagnosing and managing complex issues related to red blood cells. Antibody (anti-D and anti-c) quantification is a vital component of RCI service, predominantly providing service to NHS hospitals. The test results play a crucial role in guiding the clinical management of alloimmunised ANC patients’ by predicting the risk of haemolytic disease of the foetus and newborn and triggering referral to an FMU specialist, In addition, quantification is used to assist in the laboratory differentiation of immune anti-D from passive anti-D Ig This specialised test conducted in 4 of the 7 RCI laboratories (namely Birmingham, Colindale, Liverpool and Newcastle). RCI processes approximately 10,000 tests annually. The test is vital for identifying levels of alloimmune and prophylactic anti-D, as well as alloimmune anti-c in obstetric and other referrals.
