Provision of Volunteer Support Programme for Families with Children with SEND Need in Wiltshire
Wiltshire Council has a priority to ensure that families living in Wiltshire get the best start in life, this will be managed by offering early support services.
Wiltshire Council are seeking a Supplier who will offer early volunteer support to families. The Friends for Families service will support children of primary school age who have identified SEND are at risk of suspension or who have been suspended. The child may have behaviours that challenge in the home setting which impact upon their ability to access education.

The London Borough of Havering is seeking to commission a provider for the delivery of the Living Well Community Wellness and Empowerment Service. Community Engagement and Social Activities - Social clubs, peer-led support groups, and volunteering opportunities to reduce isolation and build social networks. 3. Support for Independence - Employment workshops, life skills training, and practical support for carers and families. 4. Empowerment - Income maximisation, digital inclusion, and proactive signposting to relevant services. Delivery Model: • The service will be community-based, operating from multiple venues across Havering to ensure local accessibility. • The provider will act as a central coordination point, managing referrals, partnerships, and performance monitoring. • Collaboration with specialist organisations is encouraged to ensure comprehensive and expert-led service delivery. Key Requirements for Bidders: • Demonstrated experience in delivering inclusive, person-centred services for neurodivergent and disabled adults. • Demonstrated experience in being a lead provider • Capacity to operate across diverse community settings and engage with a wide range of stakeholders. • Robust systems for safeguarding, staff training, data protection, and quality assurance. • Commitment to delivering social value through apprenticeships, volunteering, and community investment.
