Description

This is an updated notice and replaces Notice Number 2025/S 000-08736 and Notice Reference 2025-041058 due to these services being impacted by the community MSK and pain service procurement. This is a change to the original notification The Contract Term is to reduce uncertainty for the Providers and to ensure continuity of service. Originally the award was approved by Executive Committee in November 2024 as an award for 7 months with an option to extend for 5 months. The Contract Term shall now be for 12 months, with a 3 months’ notice period. The current procurement timeline is indicating a new service may start on 1st February 2026, but this is subject to change.
A Community Carpal Tunnel Decompression service for adults that supports the appropriate management of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in the community and reduces the number of referrals to the acute unless complex decompression procedure is necessary. This ensures that decompression surgery is only provided when conservative treatment has failed to reduce symptoms.
There is a need for an urgent award of contracts for Community Carpal Tunnel Decompression service for adults for a period of 12 months from the 1st April 2025 to the 31st March 2026 to ensure sufficient time for the procurement and that there is no risk to patient safety through increased (long) waiting times unless an arrangement is in place for 1 April 2025 as all access would then be referred into MSEFT who have confirmed they cannot absorb the activity within current capacity.
The current contract with the incumbent (Provide Wellbeing Limited) expires on 31st March 2025 and as a consequence there is a requirement to award this contract. The value is a £0 value contract – paid at local prices – planning value for 2025-26 is £16,131.

Drive Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Intervention - CPA/SPU/2667P

UK4 Tender notice Cheshire Constabulary would like to partner with a Provider to deliver a ‘Drive’ Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Intervention across Cheshire for an initial 18- month period. Funding to the PCC for Cheshire has been confirmed for the initial mobilisation and delivery of The Drive Project for the financial years 2025-2026 and 2026-27, however the exact allocation of funding is yet to be advised and in addition, will be pro-rated for year 1. Each year more than 100,000 people in the UK are at high and imminent risk of being murdered or seriously injured because of domestic abuse. Services rightly focus on meeting the needs of victims, but too often perpetrators are not held to account, and their abusive behaviour continues. Less than 1% of perpetrators get a specialist intervention that might prevent future abusive behaviour and as a result there is a high level of repeat victimization with the same victim or future partners / family members. To deliver long term sustainable change and reduce the number of victims – we must challenge perpetrators to stop. The intervention seeks to reduce offending in a high risk, high harm cohort of perpetrators. The anticipated contract value of £1.6m provided in this notice is based on the maximum annual allocation of funding for a full year of delivery, multiplied up to match the maximum contract duration. Year 1 funding will be pro-rata’d, however the actual amounts for year 1 and year 2 are yet to be confirmed. As this is grant funding, extension for years 3 and/or 4 and values are not guaranteed. Preliminary market engagement has not been conducted for this procurement, therefore a UK2 preliminary market engagement notice is not applicable.
