Description

Replace 19.429km of 132kV pressurised oil filled cables with 132kV non-pressurised XLPE solid cables
Replace 19.429km of underground pilot wire with fibre optic cables
Supply and install all ducting for the 132kV non-pressurised XLPE solid cables and fibre optic cables
Complete all civils work (excavation, backfilling and reinstatement) associated with the installation
Complete a single lane width reinstatement the length of the cable route (section approx. 1.8km) on the East Lancs road (A580) following the cable installation (Section 58 requirement)
Scope of this work is for the cable civils only however we are optioning the cable installation costs.
Replace existing outdoor sealing end structures at Bootle, Fazakerley and Gillmoss grid substations
The existing modern non-pressurised XLPE solid cable sections along the two circuits including the outdoor sealing ends structures will be retained and reused.
Drain, cut and cap of redundant oil filled cables and drain all associated oil tanks

This is clearly identified in the tender documents. - The value stated in this notice is the midpoint of a range between £1,000,000 - £1,500,000 (exclusive of VAT). - The value stated in this notice is for the initial works and may be extended to include additional works (for example, the foul sewer). It is expected that the full contract value is estimated at approximately £3,000,000 (exclusive of VAT). Any additional works are clearly identified in the tender documents. Fencing works at Hatfeild and West Wimbledon Primary Schools

The Works covered by this contract are the fencing replacement works at Hatfeild and West Wimbledon Primary Schools in the London Borough of Merton, consisting of replacing the existing fencing which is either in poor condition or inadequate, with a mixture of new steel chainlink and flatform weldmesh fencing. Overhaul and repairs to existing chainlink fencing and door automation controls are also required.
