Description

This awarded contract is for Soft Facilities Management at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The contract was awarded via a mini competition under the NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP) Total Facilities Management framework (LPP/2021/005). 

The scope of the contract includes portering (including dedicated porters and waste porters), domestic cleaning, switchboard, helpdesk with CAFM, CAFM auditing, staff and visitor catering, patient catering, window cleaning and grounds maintenance services. Linen and laundry and pest control services, which formed part of the previous contract, have been tendered separately.

The contract shall have an initial 7-year term, with the option to extend up to a further 2 years, to align with the planned site redevelopment.

This Contract is for the provision of a comprehensive Facilities Management Service at the Mary Peters Track, a premier athletics venue operated by Belfast City Council. The Contractor shall be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and presentation of the site, ensuring it remains safe, clean, accessible, and fit for purpose for all users, including athletes, clubs, event organisers, schools, community groups, volunteers, and members of the public.
