Description

Cringleford Town Council (CPC), located within the South Norfolk Council district, is seeking to appoint a contractor to manage the planning process, design and the installation of a Pump Track at The Willow Centre (TWC), NR4 7JJ.
The track needs to be designed to accommodate mountain bikes, BMX bikes, skateboards, micro scooters & rollerblades. The programme of work will be in two phases, with a break clause in case planning permission is not granted

Please note that the council are not obliged to accept the lowest tender but are bound to assess 'best value'. Works include Remove and dispose of existing gym equipment. Install a range of exercise equipment to promote exercise for adult park users which will work a range of muscle groups and have resistance options to cater for all levels of fitness in line with consultation outcomes outlined in tender pack Fully galvanised - hot dipped, not just painted. No timber products. Fire-resistant. Install a low-level barrier to the east of the gym area to distinguish the adult gym area from the children's play area. Ensure complicity with demarcation recommendations regarding its 15m proximity to the children's play area. See BS EN 16630. Install signage to meet safety regulations. The site is open and accessible all year around - visits to site are welcome. Contractors are welcome to visit at any time. Contractors entering the process are required to register for free with Find a Tender as Council cannot publish the Tender Award Notice to unregistered contractors.
