Description

The main objective of this procurement exercise is to appoint an accredited and qualified firm to provide Estate Management Telecoms services to the Asset Management team. Through the tender exercise the Council wishes to appoint a firm that meets both the quality and commercial requirements to deliver a good service to the Council in a cost-effective way that supports the Council's requirement for value for money.
It is proposed there is one single contract covering all requirements as follows: - Lease Renewals, Rent Reviews & Letting of Council Telecom Masts. This approach is proposed as it will ensure a single provider has sufficient work and throughput to dedicate resources to the contract and deliver a value for money service. By retaining the single provider approach the Council will reduce contract management administration and have a greater ability to enforce KPI’s to manage performance and to share work plans and future requirements enabling the provider to allocate resource efficiently.
