Description

Cheshire East Council has sought to commission a provider to provide an Infection Prevention Control (IPC) and Tuberculosis (TB) service across the borough.
The focus of the IPC work will take the form of primary prevention; aiming to stop outbreaks occurring by providing high quality advice, information and training to ensure effective infection control measures are implemented, as well as secondary prevention; so that the impact of any outbreaks is minimised as far as possible. The TB Nursing provision will be community driven and will offer advice/guidance, screen patients within local settings and support with secondary-care treatment plans.
