Description

This procurement has resulted in the award of a contract to provide training services for the Chartered Town Planning Level 7 apprenticeship standard.

The definitive contract value figure will depend on vacancies in apprenticeship jobs and the willingness of staff to want to upskill and the level of qualification taken.  

The Council has used it's Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision of Apprenticeship Training Services for the award of a new  contract.  The contract is awarded for 5 years with the option to extend for a further 5 years.

Wave 6 Train4Tomorrow 'Skills For Life' - Skills Bootcamps

The overall aims of the Skills Bootcamps are: To deliver *flexible training programmes lasting up to 16 weeks, based on employer / sector 'in-demand' skills needs which may be either accredited (i.e. qualification based) or non-accredited (e.g. based on alignment with industry standards) enabling adults (19+) to do training around work and other commitments.
