Description

The Select Committee Media Team works to build and sustain the profile of designated House of Commons Select Committees across print, broadcast and digital media. A team of Media and Communications Officers provide strategic media advice, handling and support for Select Committee Chairs (Members of Parliament) and for committee teams (House of Commons officials).<br/>There are 18 members of the team; media officers within the team provide support to around 25 Select Committees.<br/>The requirement is for the provision of media monitoring and associated services, primarily press, online, and broadcast monitoring on designated Select Committees.

Sitting under the Council for Reserve Forces and Cadets Associations (CRFCA), Defence Relationship Management (“DRM”) is an arm’s length body of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and it is the primary point of access linking employers with Defence. The initial contract term will be for 3 years from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2028 with 2 number of 12 month extensions available for a total contract period of 5 from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2030.
