Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), supports the provision of an extensive passenger transport network across the West Midlands. This Notice is in relation to the Award of tenders for the provision of services that are due to commence on 5th January 2025.
The value confirmed within this notice is the aggregated value of all contracts that were advertised and subsequently awarded, following evaluation of all bids that were submitted through the Authorities electronic tendering portal.
A total of Thirty Two (32) separate/distinct contracts have been awarded to Seven (7) suppliers.

Dynamic Purchasing System for Specialist Transport Services (2025)

Warrington Borough Council is keen to operate a Dynamic Purchasing System to meet its needs for specialist transport. This will include home to school, home to adult day centres etc. A range of vehicles will be required. Suppliers are invited to apply to join the DPS at any stage, although initially a call for competition will be held. This Dynamic Purchasing System will be used to procure specialist passenger transport services as required by Warrington Borough Council. These requirements may include, but are not limited to, transport for Home to School, Children with Special Education Needs and Children in Care. It may also be used to procure supported public passenger transport services, transport for various social care purposes and transport for education activities. The Council is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
