Description

Tees Valley Combined Authority (the 'Contracting Authority'), part of the Tees Valley Combined Authority Group are seeking to reprocure Supported Bus Services across the Tees Valley region.
Within this tender, the services below are separated into lots. Providers can bid on as few or as many lots as they deem appropriate. Each lot has a separate financial threshold. 
1Darlington Services - 16, 17 & 18
2Darlington and Stockton Services - 6 & 6a
3Hartlepool Services - 3 & 3A
4Middlesbrough Service - Covering Evenings, Sundays, and daytime provision to Cypress Road & Nunthorpe (Currently provided under Service 29)
5Middlesbrough Service - 13 & 13B
6Middlesbrough Service – RP1, covering Riverside Park
7Middlesbrough Service – 35
8Redcar & Cleveland Services - 1 & 2  
9Stockton and Hartlepool services - X40 & X41

Bus Depot Electrification Programme (Tranche 5+)

This requirement covers the procurement of a suitable contracting partner for the next tranche (Tranche 5) of electrical infrastructure requirements for TfGM Bus Depot Electrification Programme. TfGM are exploring options to procure a contracting partner to develop and deliver suitable proposals and infrastructure, for Tranche 5 (and potentially Tranche 6) of the Bus Depot Electrification Programme. Currently the design is at RIBA Stage 2 and the intention will be for the appointed contractor to progress this further to detailed design (RIBA Stage 4) through to future construction. Tranche 5 of the TfGM Bus Depot Electrification Programme includes Wigan and Wythenshawe. Tranche 6 projects are yet to be confirmed but is likely to include a number of additional depots of a similar size. This is the initial Procurement Notice and the intention is to issue a Market Engagement Notice early December 2025, followed by the Tender Notice in March 2026.
