Description

The Council wishes to establish a Flexible Contracting Agreement for Externally Provided Day Opportunities.  Day Opportunities, traditionally referred to as day centres, where the services are provided for people with care and support needs and their carers that take place, mainly, over daytime hours which provide vital support in two main ways:•	They provide meaningful activities, including learning, stimulation and recreation, promoting independence, supporting the development of skills, preparing for access to employment, making friends and enjoying the company of others.•	They provide valuable respite for unpaid carers. Day Opportunities support autistic people, those with a learning disability, physical disabilities, acquired brain injury, older adults including those with dementia, mental health and other assessed support needs.The Flexible Contracting Arrangement (FCA) is based on the principles of a Dynamic Purchasing System. The FCA will re-open on an ad hoc basis.

Proactive Intervention Offer

Norfolk County Council wishes to commission an offer that provides targeted interventions that includes individuals aged 50 plus residing within the specified Health and Wellbeing Partnership area (on occasion younger people may be supported through this offer, where suitable). Individuals will have been proactively identified at a risk of falls and interventions should deliver outcomes around: a) Aging Well, including strength and mobility training, physical exercise and movement; b) Social connection, including participation in local community groups; c) Information and advice to support aging well, including managing money and accessing services. The Provider should plan to support approximately 800 people per year (per Health and Wellbeing Partnership) and must ensure they have the capacity to enable this. NHSE1050 - Host Organisation - North West Adult Critical Care Transfer Service Contract No: C345988

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a care system support organisation working for and on behalf of NHS England - North West Specialised Commissioning, NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board - Lead ICB, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board, and NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (the Relevant Authorities), who are undertaking a competition to commission a Host Organisation - to procure, deliver and manage the North West Adult Critical Care Transfer Service. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The contract term is for a period of 5 years and the annual contract value is £5.66 million. The Host Organisation contract will be awarded by July 2025 and full mobilisation of the service will be confirmed in line with the awarded Host Organisation's mobilisation plan, this is anticipated to be between July 2025 and 01 April 2026, notwithstanding any supply issues to mobilise the service. The five-year contract will commence from full mobilisation of the service. The Host Organisation will be required to be provide all the requirements within the annual financial threshold of 5.66 million GDP and the successful Host Organisation should be an NHS Acute Trust who is CQC registered for the provision of General Adult Critical Care Services. Please note after award and before the commencement date the successful provider will be required to occupy and deliver the service from a physical base located within the North West.
