Description

Hire of Life Saving Apparatus for our 2 vessels NLV Pharos and NLV Polestar - Liferafts and Lifejackets. We would require a contract in place for 4 years, with annual same day exchange on lifejackets, and either annually or biennially same day exchange options on the liferafts at a specified UK port or drydock location. We require all equipment supplied to be compliant with new UK Marine Equipment Regulations (MER) and in line with Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), satisfying flag state requirements to allow the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to issue the safety equipment certificate.

Vessel First Fill

NLB have a requirement for a supplier to manage the purchase of various items for our new vessel currently being built in Spain. The Vessel First Fill Spreadsheet provides a full list of all required items, one key aspect is the quality of the products that are offered. NLB are looking for the successful supplier to manage the complete process from the purchase of all items to the management of the delivery to the yard in Spain including the Customs process. Please note that NLB are looking for high quality products from known manufacturers. As per the evaluation criteria the higher weighting is on quality over price. On the excel pricing document items have been marked up with makes/models/brand and specific information to provide guidance on the required standard of quality of products. Where an equivalent item is being quoted, this should be highlighted on the comments section of the vessel first fill spreadsheet within your tender reply. Regulations and Standards All items are for use in a UK registered vessel. Where applicable these items must meet IMO and MCA rules in regulations. Examples being all safety equipment and all upholstered furniture, bedding to meet the UK Marine Equipment Regulations (MER) and flame retardant. For reference: MSN 1874 The lifting gear will all have to comply with the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment) Regulations 1998 (with 2006 amendments) (LOLER) All standards as detailed within the links to suggested products on the vessel first fill spreadsheet. For example to meet BS EN Codes of practice All batteries for example AA, AAA must be have Nordic Ecolabel Standard. Delivery All items to be delivered at the given destination on 11 August 2025. If any item cannot be delivered within this time then there should be a delivery submitted for these items. Civil Engineering Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Scotland - projects up to 5 million GBP

The Scottish Ministers have been working with internal and external stakeholders on the development of a Scottish collaborative Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Civil Engineering projects up to 5 million GBP for use across the Scottish public sector. To be considered, economic operators are required to complete the Single Procurement Document (SPD) including the Financial Standing Workbook, the Technical and Professional Ability Workbook (including Core Terms Acceptance and SOC Check) and the Environmental Management and Climate Change Plan Form in accordance with the Contract Notice and the accompanying Instructions document. Economic operators will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations (Scotland) 2015, on the basis of the information provided within their application. A Price Quality Ratio (PQR) of 30% Price and 70% Quality (with a range of +/-20%) will be undertaken for all calls for competition under this DPS.
