Description

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles ('OZEV', the 'Authority') is seeking to appoint a consultancy firm (the 'Supplier') to undertake a research project on the cost to install private and publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the UK.
This is to build OZEV's understanding of the costings of EV chargepoints in residential settings, workplace settings, public on-street locations, car parks, rapid charging hubs, motorway service areas and depots.
To address these evidence gaps, the Supplier is required to conduct primary research on UK EV infrastructure costs, using a quantitative approach. The Supplier must deliver a publishable report outlining detailed costs, alongside analysis, sources and methodology, which will inform OZEV charging infrastructure cost assumptions and policymaking.
