Description

Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) acting in its role as a lender, invites quotations for the provision of RICS Red Book valuations and associated advice for a portfolio of 13 predominantly residential development sites mainly located in Cambridgeshire (one in Hertfordshire). The sites are owned by This Land Development Ltd (TL) an arm's length development company, wholly owned by CCC.  There are a further 5 assets (in Essex and one in Suffolk) where TL has a contractual arrangement in place to promote the sites through the planning process and consideration of the value to the company of these contracts is required. Initial valuations are required within a 6 week period from appointment (no later than the 13th November 2024), with the contract remaining open for two years with possible extension.

Wrexham Gateway Eastern Zone Development – Technical Project Management and other Professional Services

Wrexham County Borough Council, on behalf of the Wrexham Gateway partnership, wish to commission a suitably qualified multi-disciplinary team to provide technical project management and other professional services to the Wrexham Gateway Eastern Zone Development scheme. The scope includes taking the project from a RIBA Stage 2 design pack that has been produced, developing a procurement and funding strategy to procure a development partner to fund and deliver the proposed scheme, producing a tender pack for this procurement, participating in the tender assessment process and drawing up the contract. Other requirements include producing a Full Business Case meeting public sector funding requirements, and leasing agent services. Additional potential spot purchase options include development monitoring / technical advisor services, marketing, private sector funding support services and management set up and operation services. This tender process relates to a single contract that has not been broken down into multiple lots. The council is looking to engage a single lead consultancy and this is required for contract management purposes. The project requires a technical project manager to coordinate elements of the work in a highly coordinated and highly time-efficient manner. Provision of Planned Heritable Asset Valuations

The Scottish Police Authority (known as the “the Authority”) requires a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake planned heritable asset valuations of its properties - land, building and radio sites. This procurement will result in the appointment if a single Contractor. The successful contactor must provide valuers who are current, registered members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and all valuations must be carried out in full accordance with the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Valuation - Global Standards. The Authority is re-tendering this requirement to ensure the engagement of a competent and reliable provider. The estate comprises approximately 500 assets, covering operational and non-operational properties. The assets represent a wide range of property types and ages, including heritage and listed buildings, many of which are in varied states of condition. The valuations must be carried out in accordance with the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Valuation - Global Standards, incorporating International Standards (IVS) effective 31 January 2025, and having regard to the UK National Supplement effective from 1 May 2024. The contract is expected to commence on 1st October 2025 for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional 12-month periods, subject to the Authority’s discretion.
