Description
The UK screen sector continues to be buffeted by changes in the economic, social, cultural and leisure behaviours and attitudes of the UK population. Whether these changes are responses to the after-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, cost of living crises, global unrest or rapid technological developments, they make for a complex and challenging landscape for screen-based organisations. The BFI now wishes to commission a supplier to undertake a survey of broader screen audience engagement at a robust UK nation and English regional level. As well as being in part a continuation of the Screen Engagement tracker, our new survey will also look to incorporate and expand on evidence and insights uncovered in The Wider World of Film at a variety of national and regional breaks.
