Description

Shifty Pig ltd provide TV and radio production services to national broadcasters and video and audio production services to local organisations. We also provide environmental land management services for local organisations. This is in the form of contracting work such as heathland management.

We are introducing battery storage and installing more solar panels to reduce our reliance on the grid throughout the year. We are also installing a solar linked charger, whereby all excess power generated will go directly into the existing electric company car battery once the storage batteries are full. To compliment the above, this contract opportunity is to purchase an electric van so that we can maximise our solar energy useage and get a step closer to being fossil free.
The purchase of this system is part of a grant funded application process and therefore procurement will be subject to grant approval of the project. We will assess tenders received on lowest compliant Tender.

North Northamptonshire Council ("NNC") is seeking potential providers for the delivery of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the council area. The proposed arrangement will be a Concession Contract, which includes comprehensive requirements for the provision of end-to-end services. This involves turnkey solutions for designing, planning, constructing, installing, operating, and maintaining a smart EV charging network. NNC is conducting this procurement through the open procedure to identify the provider(s) for the requirement. This procurement process is being managed in accordance with The Concession Contracts Regulations 2016. NNC proposes to enter into one (1) Contract for an initial period of 15 years (180 months) with the preferred Potential Supplier, with an option to extend for 12 months, making 192 months in total.
