Description

The GM Information Strategy has identified a need for academic input to help
design a business change tool that helps to embed the organisation's
information sharing framework across Greater Manchester partners. The KTP
will research and design how to most effectively create and sustain change of
practice to support the embedding of an agreed framework across a city
region. Informed by this research, the output will be tools for change that
GMCA and other organisations can use to specifically implement the data
sharing framework in their local practice and on a regional level.
This support is needed due to:
o Lack of extensive knowledge and understanding about sustaining
business change across a city region and its information sharing
practice.
o Lack of capability to develop a sound model of implementation for the
framework that can work for a range of organisations.
o The need for insight into why past projects have not been able to
secure lasting impact despite a clear appetite for a framework.
