Description

This tender exercise was designed to establish a Framework for the Supply and Delivery of Waste Disposal Equipment.  The objective of the framework was to provide Council’s with a mechanism to procure a wide range of waste disposal equipment, including, but not limited to, large containers, skips, compactors, balers, and roll packers.  The end users of the framework are likely to be the Waste and/or Environment Departments within councils.

HS2 Curzon Street Station - Waste Management Services

Mace Dragados are seeking expressions of interest from the supply chain to provide a waste collection service from this project comprising the provision of skips, wheelie bins, rollon/offs, compactors/balers, wheelie bins etc as necessary to collect potentially segregated waste streams from general construction waste, paper/cardboard, hazardous, plasterboard, plastics, etc. Note we already have an appointed logistics contractor so are NOT looking for the provision of an onsite labour gang and plant to manage waste. The emphasis will be on providing an efficient, professional, cost effective waste service with high recycling rates As an HS2 site all personnel must be paid at least Living Wage and generally be directly employed. A full audit of the appointed supplier will be carried out by ourselves prior to appointment and at regular intervals. It is anticipated we would place a supply only order for this project (probably NEC terms). Payment terms are 26 days. The project commenced earlier this year and will run to 2029. It is likely that early subcontractors (Piling, Substructure, Superstructure etc) will be responsible for their own waste and initial requirements may be site office waste and waste from other subcontractors. We intend to place an order directly with a waste company (i.e. not via a third party intermediary).

ID 5590036 - DoF - IT Assist - FRAMEWORK FOR DISPOSAL SERVICES FOR IT EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

The Department of Finance - IT Assist wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for Disposal Services for IT equipment, electronic and electrical equipment for use by the Northern Ireland Public Sector including Northern Ireland Civil Service Departments, Agencies and Non Departmental Public Bodies. Unauthorised disclosure of information / sensitive data is a major risk mainly due to the increasing dependence on electronic storage systems and the use of disposable media. Organisations have therefore developed asset disposal strategies that can require data to be deleted from media and equipment sometimes prior to its permanent removal from site for disposal and/or recycling or for assured data destruction. The framework therefore seeks to appoint Suppliers to; securely and irreversibly delete data from a range of media either on the customer’s premises or offsite; and securely and legally dispose of redundant information and communications technology equipment and media. Once the Framework Agreement has been established, secondary competitions will be completed for each disposal required. The Framework period is for 4 years. 1082 Provision of Containers and Steps

Essex County Council is seeking to procure contracts for the provision of a quantity of up to 10 new pedestrian access steps and up to twelve (12) new, fifteen (15) cubic yard open containers & ten (10) new, thirty (30) cubic yard enclosed plasterboard containers to enable the RCHW sites within the waste service to operate safely and compliantly. Lot 1 of this procurement will be for the provision of containers. Lot 2 of this procurement will be for the provision of steps.
