Derbyshire County Council Adult Health and Social Care are re-opening their Framework for the procurement of Specialist Residential Care and Nursing Home Placements (under 65 years).\r

This Framework commenced 1st April 2024, replacing the existing contracting arrangements for all new specialist residential care / nursing home placements.  This includes Emergency Placements and Respite Care.\r

We would primarily welcome interest from Providers operating in the County of Derbyshire, as well as Derby City, Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Leicestershire, Leicester, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham, Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Kirklees, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire East.  However, the Framework is open to all providers across the United Kingdom.\r

The Framework is applicable to the following client groups:\r

•	Autism Spectrum Condition\r
•	Physical Disabilities \r
•	Sensory Impairment \r
•	Acquired Brain Injury \r
•	Those with unpredictable levels of behaviour that challenges services\r

This Framework is not relevant to care home providers with only services for people over 65 years of age.\r

Refuge and Safe Accommodation Services Peterborough

Peterborough Refuge Services - provision of support within a refuge and dispersed/move on accommodation for female victims of Domestic Abuse and for a Children's Support Worker and counselling available to those within the accommodation provided within this contract. The supplier must provide safe and stable refuge for women and children fleeing high risk domestic abuse, and to support them to move into safe and secure independent accommodation. They must also provide additional accommodation for women and children who require accommodation and are safe to stay in Peterborough with the necessary safety measures in place. There must be 2 units (rooms) available for those victims with no recourse to public funds. There must be consideration for those with disabilities, including visible and non-visible disabilities. In addition the supplier must provide support to child victims of domestic abuse staying at the refuge and the safe accommodation to enable them to cope and recover from the abuse they have experienced. The service will work with those who are experiencing domestic abuse, and are fleeing from that abuse at any level of risk. The Service will deliver specialist, flexible and responsive support to meet a range of needs. The service will offer counselling to those residing in the accommodation as part of this contract. The key aims which underpin all of our domestic abuse services are: • Increased safety of the those suffering from domestic abuse • To enable victims and children to cope and recover from abuse they have experienced • To support those using the accommodation to move on to permanent accommodation.
