Description

This procurement is for an open framework for the delivery of on-site care and support in new and existing extra care housing.
In 2023, the Council published its Supported and Specialist Housing Strategy, Cornwall Supported & Specialist Housing Strategy 2023-2050 which sets out the future demand for services. This procurement tender exercise is for extra care services in new or existing extra care schemes in strategic locations across Cornwall to meet the demand set out in the Specialist and Supported Housing Strategy and Market Position Statement. The Authority is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified providers of regulated care to be appointed to the open framework. Please refer to the tender documents for further details.

Refuge and Safe Accommodation Services Peterborough

The supplier must provide safe and stable refuge for women and children fleeing high risk domestic abuse, and to support them to move into safe and secure independent accommodation. They must also provide additional accommodation for women and children who require accommodation and are safe to stay in Peterborough with the necessary safety measures in place. There must be 2 units (rooms) available for those victims with no recourse to public funds. There must be consideration for those with disabilities, including visible and non-visible disabilities. In addition the supplier must provide support to child victims of domestic abuse staying at the refuge and the safe accommodation to enable them to cope and recover from the abuse they have experienced. The service will work with those who are experiencing domestic abuse, and are fleeing from that abuse at any level of risk. The Service will deliver specialist, flexible and responsive support to meet a range of needs. The service will offer counselling to those residing in the accommodation as part of this contract. The key aims which underpin all of our domestic abuse services are: • Increased safety of the those suffering from domestic abuse • To enable victims and children to cope and recover from abuse they have experienced • To support those using the accommodation to move on to permanent accommodation.
