Flu Vaccination within Substance Misuse Services for the following localities:
1. Lancashire, Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral, St Helens and Warrington
2. Blackburn with Darwen
3. South Cumbria
4. Liverpool, Wigan and Leigh
5. Cheshire West and Chester
This service targets patients accessing Substance Misuse services in the above localities.  The contract is activity based and a tariff of £15.00 is paid per vaccination administered.

 1. Lancs, Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral, St Helens and Warrington:  £6,900
2. Blackburn with Darwen: £1,500
3. South Cumbria: £1,500

5. Cheshire West and Chester: £1,500

Provision of Continuing Healthcare Fast Track Services for Nursing Home Beds

The purpose of this Service is to deliver care within a Residential Care Home with Nursing (referred to from this point as a Nursing Home) for those patients who have been assessed as eligible for NHS Fast Track funded care, have expressed a preference for care in a Nursing Home and whose needs can be safely and appropriately managed in a Nursing Home. The Service is commissioned to provide dignity and assurance to people and their families when they are entering their final weeks of life and is expected to be safe, responsive and efficient. This includes enabling patients to achieve the best possible quality of life whatever their disease or disability, gender, ethnic background, or sexual orientation. <br/><br/>This will be achieved through the application of a holistic person-centred approach to care which is integrated seamlessly with all other health services, especially GP primary medical services and specialist palliative care services.<br/><br/>The aims of this Service are:<br/>• To deliver a responsive, caring and person-centred service for patients and their loved ones in the last weeks of life.<br/>• To facilitate prompt commencement of care in a Nursing Home, for patients identified as in the end stages of life under the NHS Continuing Healthcare Fast Track pathway.<br/>• To commission end of life care which is delivered by staff with enhanced levels of training and competencies in relation to end of life care. <br/>• To prevent inappropriate or avoidable admissions to hospital for end-of-life care.<br/><br/>Please note that all Lots are restricted to a maximum of 2 beds per nursing home, except for Lot 2 (which is 3 beds). You must be able to deliver the maximum number of beds stated for the Lot you are bidding for. Bids received with less than the maximum or more than the maximum stated Beds will be excluded. Integrated Drugs and Alcohol Treatment Service

This procurement is being run in accordance with The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 -Competitive Process. Peterborough City Council is commissioning an integrated all-age service covering treatment for drug and alcohol misuse covering all key substances as per the service specification and evolving trends in substance misuse. The treatment provider must work to help people make good progress towards their treatment goals and as measured by the National Treatment Progress Measure. As part of this the provider will agree and help deliver individual treatment goals to service users and provide structured treatment help users achieve these goals. The Provider will be required to deliver a service which empowers accessibility and has the flexibility to innovate services to address complexity and the changing landscape of substances and national trends. The provider may sub-contract some element of the service. The provider must work closely with a Look After Recovery Service (LERO), this is being commissioned separately. The funding is structured into two parts PART A and B. Included in PART A, the Council is investing is own public health grant estimated to be £2. 406, 909 per year in years one to three. Alongside side this is additional grant funding received from other local and national funding sources know as PART B. This includes the Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Improvement Grant (Supplementary, Housing Support and Rough Sleeper elements), Hospital Liaison, Vulnerable Women’s, Probation, Office for Police and Crime Commissioner Family Safeguarding, Smoking Cessation and Regional Detoxification Placements. Some of the Part B elements are already confirmed and more detail is available in the Invitation to Tender Pack. Funding from other sources principally central government funding from the National Strategy from Harm to Hope is not guaranteed but will be invested subject to confirmation from central government later in the year. Bidders are asked to submit proposals on the anticipation this funding is provided but, on the understanding, this may be subject to change.. To be clear there is no commitment or guarantee by the Council of funding levels that fall within Part B.
