Description

East Ayrshire Council, NHS Ayrshire and Arran, North Ayrshire Council, and South Ayrshire Council (the Partners) are seeking to appoint a Service Provider who will be responsible for providing the following services.
- Deliver a comprehensive and thorough Inspection, Service, Maintenance and Repair Service of items of Community equipment, for clients located throughout Ayrshire.  Equipment will normally be in domestic or alternative designated environments such as Care Homes where care provision can take place.  Additionally, there may be an occasional requirement to service / repair equipment out with the boundary of Ayrshire.
- Provide a repair service on a call-out basis, including provision of an “out of hours” service.
The Services shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s instructions for the equipment concerned, the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and Portable Appliance Testing.

Integrated Drugs and Alcohol Treatment Service

This procurement is being run in accordance with The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 -Competitive Process. Peterborough City Council is commissioning an integrated all-age service covering treatment for drug and alcohol misuse covering all key substances as per the service specification and evolving trends in substance misuse. Alongside side this is additional grant funding received from other local and national funding sources know as PART B. This includes the Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Improvement Grant (Supplementary, Housing Support and Rough Sleeper elements), Hospital Liaison, Vulnerable Women’s, Probation, Office for Police and Crime Commissioner Family Safeguarding, Smoking Cessation and Regional Detoxification Placements. Some of the Part B elements are already confirmed and more detail is available in the Invitation to Tender Pack. Funding from other sources principally central government funding from the National Strategy from Harm to Hope is not guaranteed but will be invested subject to confirmation from central government later in the year. Bidders are asked to submit proposals on the anticipation this funding is provided but, on the understanding, this may be subject to change.. To be clear there is no commitment or guarantee by the Council of funding levels that fall within Part B.
