This DPS is organised into 7 Categories covering the types of measures and installations required: • Category 1: Solid Wall Insulation (external &/or internal) • Category 2: Park Homes Insulation • Category 3: Multiple Insulation Measures (combinations of CWI, SWI (Int or Ext), FI, RIR, LI, Ventilation, Glazing, Doors) • Category 4: MCS measures and Integrated Systems (Solar PV, battery storage, heat pump (AHSP / GSHP etc), Solar Thermal, Ventilation) • Category 5: Shared systems (communal heating, shared solar and ground heat loops) • Category 6: Low-Cost Measures (Low energy lightbulbs, Hot water tank insulation jacket, Draughtproofing and Heating controls / Smart Heating Controls) • Category 7: Whole House Retrofit Solutions (combinations of any measures) In addition, call-offs may include associated works and services either where these are necessary to undertake the works that are central to the call-off (e.g. installing scaffolding for working at heights), or where it would be beneficial to the project to have additional works or services carried out by the same contractor and the associated works or services constitute a small part of the overall call-off. Please note, this advert covers the entire estimated lifespan of the DPS. Applications submitted within the first 30 days will be assessed before any tender opportunities are published through the DPS. Applications received after the first 30 days will be assessed thereafter on an ongoing basis.

WC2566311 - (D1002A, D1002B & D1134A) - NEW CULVERTS AT WATERLOO ROAD (CEMETERY)

Culvert 1: Culvert number one is the culvert crossing the Waterloo Road to the south of the cemetery entrance and provides stormwater drainage of the area to the east of the cemetery. Water is collected in a ditch approximately 40 cm wide by 100 cm deep running parallel to the east cemetery boundary. The interior dimensions of culvert 1 cross section are 1.1 meters wide 1.0m high. The road pavement thickness above the culvert is of the order of 330mm. Culvert 2: The interior dimensions of culvert 2 cross section are 1.5 meters wide 1.55m high. The road embankment and pavement thickness above the culvert is of the order of 300mm. Culvert 3: Culvert number 3 lies to the west of Waterloo Road and collects water from the west side of the area. It also collects all the water from culvert number 2 passing under the road. The interior dimensions of culvert 3 are 1.85m wide and 1.1m high. The Road embankment and pavement above the culvert is approximately 1.4 meters deep. The depth of the top slab of the culvert is 150mm. Requirement: The scope of works involves replacing the existing culverts (3 No.) by construction of new culverts at the existing location. Based on stormwater flow calculations, the required internal dimensions of Culvert number 1 (South) are 2.0m wide by 1.2m high, and for Culvert number 2 (north) are 2.0m wide by 1.2m high and for culvert number 3 (east) 3m wide and 1.2m high. The works on site will be carried out by complete road closure. Complete road closure will mean that road traffic will be diverted from Waterloo Road, so that the road will be closed for traffic and then the works may be constructed without any traffic passing through the site. No phasing is required and therefore both culverts may be constructed at the same time. Construction works may be carried out, within the road corridor and outside the corridor without particular concern for traffic management through the site. Site Description: The Catchment area lies to the east of Dhekelia Site and covers an area of approximately 800,000 m2 which constitutes the area to the east of the Waterloo Road (570,000 m2) and West of Waterloo Road (230,000 m2). Stormwater of the catchment area to the west of the Waterloo Road, actually flows directly to culvert No 3, without flowing through either culvert number 1 (South) or culvert number 2 (North) which are the two culverts crossing the road (Waterloo). The provisional tender dates for the project are as follows: · Expression of Interest: Friday 17th January 2025. · Expression of interest return: Friday 31st January 2025. · Issue of Tender Documents: Monday 03rd February 2025. · Tender return date: Tuesday 04th March 2025. · Tender award date: Thursday 10th April 2025. · Commencement of works onsite: Monday 14th April 2025. · Completion of Works: Monday 15th September 2025. The currency of this project is Euro (€). The location of this project is Dhekelia, Cyprus (British Forces). Additional information: Any company wishing to participate in this tender should complete the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) which is attached and return it electronically to the above email address by no later than 12:00 EET on 31/01/2025. For companies that have submitted a PQQ within the last 12 months, there is no requirement to re-submit it. They must provide the details of their last PQQ submission to guarantee inclusion on the invitation list.
