HDC-1463 Recyclables and Waste Collections, Street Cleansing and Grounds Maintenance Services Harborough District Council

Harborough District Council will shortly be tendering for a single supplier to run a service consisting of the recyclable and waste collection services, as well as street cleansing and grounds maintenance services. The intention is to contract a single supplier, however, it will be permissible under the contract, to subcontract elements of the contract to subcontractors, managed by the single main contractor, in line with all Council requirements. It is envisaged that the only element of the service that will be eligible for subcontracting is Grounds maintenance. Details of the available options will be made clear within the published tender documentation. The service will take place across the Harborough District. It is anticipated that the initial tender documentation will be available to any interested supplier to submit an initial tender response. The final process will be clearly defined in the tender documentation.
