Description

The purpose of this procurement is to establish a framework for the provision of Specialist Estates Engineering & Maintenance Services (Hard FM). The framework will provide a one stop shop for organisations to fulfil their Specialist Estates Engineering & Maintenance Service (Hard FM) requirements, with suppliers selected for their experience and ability to provide customers with a comprehensive range of services and works that combine quality, value and compliance.<br/>The framework has been designed to facilitate current trends in FM and also to provide a flexible route for Estates and FM departments within contracting authorities to procure services.<br/>The framework Lots have been configured to enable Service Providers to be able to bid for areas within their specialism, making it friendly for SME’s. The Authority seeks suitably qualified suppliers to tender for a Facilities Management Services provision. The overarching aim of the Service is to manage, co-ordinate and deliver a consistent, timely and high-quality soft facilities management service for the Authority and its patients and will consist of the following service lines: General Management Helpdesk Management / Reception Services Patient Catering Healthcare Cleaning and Pest Control Portering and Postal Services Security (Manned Guarding) The Authority is looking to appoint a single Preferred Supplier to manage all aspects of the Service. As such, a Lotting Strategy is deemed inappropriate as it risks creation of unnecessary fragmentation and complexity. Accordingly, the service will be offered as a single contract awarded to a single Preferred Supplier. The aggregate value of the contract (including extensions) as advertised in the Contracts Finder and Find a Tender Service (FTS) for the full 10 years of provision (7 core years plus 3 options years) is £346,146,770 British Pound Sterling. The core contract term is from 01st October 2025 - 30th September 2032, with the option to extend for a maximum of 36 months.
