Description

This service will be delivered for Cambridgeshire County Council require an All Age Carers service that will provide an integrated support service to adult carers, parent carers and young carers in partnership with carers themselves, their families, their local communities, schools and neighbours and other statutory, voluntary, and commercial organisations across Cambridgeshire.
The carers services to be provided include, adult carers, young carers, young adult carers and adult carers supporting loved ones with mental health challenges. These will work together to deliver an integrated provision across Cambridgeshire.

Plymouth City Council ("The Authority") is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and capable Supplier to deliver a range of accessible transport services within the city of Plymouth. These services include the provision of Shopmobility, Demand Responsive Transport (DRT), and a Community Car Scheme. The successful Supplier will be expected to deliver the following core services: 1. Shopmobility Services Shopmobility enables residents and visitors with mobility impairments to access Plymouth city centre by providing the hire of manual wheelchairs and electric scooters. The service operates from a central base located on the ground floor of the Mayflower East Car Park, Mayflower Street, Plymouth, PL1 1QJ. 2. Demand Responsive Transport (Dial-a-Ride) This door-to-door transport service is designed for Plymouth residents who are eligible for a concessionary bus pass and who are unable to access conventional public transport due to mobility or accessibility challenges. 3. Community Car Scheme A not-for-profit car-sharing initiative that supports residents with mobility issues in accessing essential services and facilities across Plymouth. The scheme is operated by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles. The Authority is committed to ensuring these services remain accessible, reliable, and responsive to the needs of Plymouth's residents and visitors. The appointed Supplier will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of inclusive transport, community engagement, and service innovation, while delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.

Provision of stray dogs service in H&F

Procurement for the provision of a comprehensive stray dog service between 01/05/2026 - 30/04/2028, with the option of two additional discretionary one year extensions until 30/04/2030. The service includes collection of stray dogs reported within the borough in accordance with all relevant legislation and statutory duties, kennelling and care to meet welfare standards and legal requirements, and ensuring staff are suitably trained and equipped for safe handling of dogs. The provider must maintain effective communication with the Council, including escalation of urgent cases, provision of updates on dogs in care, access to the stray dog register, and submission of performance reports. High-quality customer service for residents and callers is required, including fee collection, complaint resolution, and ensuring accessibility. Services must comply with the Council’s Service Specification and all statutory obligations, with kennelling facilities meeting welfare standards and licensing requirements.
