Description

Leicester City Council direct awarded a one-off contract for the provision of additional targeted services relating to Recovery Hub through ensuring continuation of funding for the Day Centre Link Worker (1 FTE) for 23-24 and 24-25, and introducing an Activities Co-ordinator role (1 FTE) for 23-24 pro-rata and 24-25.This is a new role designed to support the development and implementation of a holistic activities programme within the No.5 service. It will enhance the quality of treatment offered, strengthen links with other services, support mental and physical wellbeing and help manage capacity within the service.

The initial term of this service is from the commencement date of 1st March 2024 to 31st March 2025, with no option to extend. 

This contract was awarded under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Direct Award Process A; the provider has been identified as a unique supplier of these services, owing to their exisiting infrastructure and 'live' services to support vulnerable people engaged with substance use and street lifestyle issues.

NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board is seeking to secure a Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver Individual Placement and Support in line with the specified requirements. The contract value is £1,186,995 per annum giving a total value of £3,560,985 over the initial 3 year term, £4,747,980 if the first extension is adopted, and £5,934,975 if all extensions are adopted. All values provided are inclusive of any non-recoverable VAT. There will be no additional investment. The procurement and awarded contract will operate with a view to review the sufficiency of the contract value against service demand, efficiency and effectiveness, and on an annual basis upon receipt of confirmed budgetary allocations, consider adjustments through formal business case submission route should be explored. Any initiation of exploration will be at the commissioner's discretion. This exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
