Description

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) and Westminster City Council (WCC) are seeking to procure provision of the Children and Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Service with a Primary Focus on Substance Misuse. 
The successful provider will deliver the service across both WCC and RBKC,  and a through a tailored and accessible offer, will provide outreach, specialist treatment interventions to children, young people and their families, whilst working closely with partners to prioritise early intervention, education, and community engagement. 
The estimated Contract term is as follows: 
initial Contract Term - 01/12/2025 to 30/11/2030
Extension Period - 01/12/2030 - 30/11/32

Provision of a Prosthetic, Orthotic and Technical Service

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust , the Lead Trust /Commissioner is seeking to procure a high quality Prosthetic & Orthotic Service to integrate within a multi disciplinary team. This service supports both Adult and Paediatric patients with physical impairments, aiming to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. The service will primarily operate from West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre, covering the supply, fitting, maintenance, and aftercare of prosthetic and orthotic devices. It will also include clinical assessments, custom fittings, ongoing adjustments, and comprehensive rehabilitation support.<br/><br/>The Prosthetics service at the Centre is one of only 35 in the UK, serving patients from a broad geographical area. The service provides artificial limbs to clients with upper and lower limb deficiencies, both acquired and congenital, along with all related prosthetic, technical, therapeutic, and holistic support. Patients are registered with the service on a lifelong basis.<br/><br/>The Trust seeks a provider capable of delivering high-quality, flexible, and cost-effective Prosthetics and Orthotic service. The contract will require service provision at the Trust’s current sites, ensuring continuity and quality care for patients as well those of its Tertiary centres based within other NHS Trusts including the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.<br/><br/>As part of the contract, the successful supplier will provide workshop facilities within a 5 mile radius of the Maltings Mobility Centre, Wolverhampton. The current workshop facility is below the required standards for a healthcare faciltiy and suitable premises must now found as part of this procurement exercise. The workshop facilities at ther other centres are in good operational use and will continue for use by the successful supplier.<br/><br/>The contract shall be for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods.<br/><br/>This procurment is to be conducted under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Competitive Process procedure.
