      Aster operates one Contact Centre supporting its property management and maintenance operations for all regions. The function of the Contact Centre is to handle customer contact regarding property repair and housing enquiries and distribute the work to the appropriate in-house operative teams and/or external contractors.  Aster provides an out of hours emergency repairs service where any calls into the Contact Centre will be transferred to the provider.
      
      The requirements for the provision of the out of hours service is to provide a service for Aster's housing stock in terms of the definition of an emergency. Emergency calls will be triaged, all customers vulnerabilities accounted for, and relevant jobs raised to the in-house operative/contractor, using internal systems.

Additional information: Aster Group, are currently running a pre market engagement for expressions of interest, for a future potential tender opportunity. We are currently scoping the requirements  for this procurement but are looking to gather market intelligence to ensure we have included all requirements needed to deliver this provision.

Livin Housing Ltd is a community-focused Registered Provider of social housing operating across County Durham and the wider North East. With a portfolio of approximately 9,000 homes, Livin’s purpose is to improve lives through sustainable homes and places. This reflects Livin’s commitment to collaborative working and its desire to build a long-term, outcomes-focused relationship with its appointed contractor. The estimated annual value of the contract is £20 million, with a proposed term of 10 years, plus options to extend by a further five years (3+2), subject to performance and agreement. This procurement is being conducted under the Competitive Flexible Procedure (Procurement Act 2023), and is being administered by Echelon Consultancy on behalf of Livin Housing Ltd. At this stage of the process — the Conditions of Participation Stage (CoPS) — Livin is focused on assessing bidders’ past experience and organisational suitability. Bidders are not expected to submit proposed solutions or commercial offers at this point.
