Description

Manchester City Council is seeking suppliers for a new collaborative 4-year Highway\r
Maintenance Framework.\r
The works and services covered by the framework have been split into 5 Lots, as follows:\r
 Lot 1 Patching defect repairs (small and large defects)\r
 Lot 2 Highway mobile repairs, includes emergencies during typical business hours, out of\r
hours, nights, and public holidays\r
 Lot 3 Highway event support- traffic management, business hours and out of hours\r
 Lot 4 Gully cleansing\r
 Lot 5 Drainage - Repairs including improvement works, and as required, culvert, trash\r
screen and water course clearance

The Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link www.the-chest.org.uk. Homes England - Telford Millennium Community, East Ketley: Drainage Remedial Works

The Telford Millennium Community development is situated around Ketley Park Road, Telford. The site was prepared by Homes England (HE) for residential development purposes, which have been carried out by house builders Taylor Wimpey (TW). HE were responsible for installing primary drainage infrastructure that could be transferred to the local Water Authority, Severn Trent Water (STW). Tetra Tech have been working on behalf of HE to liaise with STW and agree a scope of works that would enable the assets to be transferred to STW. This would subsequently enable TW to have their upstream drainage transferred to STW also. Remedial works are to be carried out under the existing Section 104 agreements on the site, and under the new Section 104 and Section 102 applications. The contracted works are to deliver the scope agree with STW to enable a future transfer of infrastructure from Homes England to STW.
